Members of Preston Trail Chater NSDAR participated in the public reading of the US Constitution to celebrate it's 226th anniversary of it's signing by our founders. The event was hosted by the Benjamin Lyon Chapter NSDAR in Denton. The event took place on September 17th in the Commissioners' Courtroom at the Courthouse on the Square.

Readers included NSDAR daughters from both chapters, members of the Sons of the American Revolution and community citizens. The event was designed to educate, commemorate and celebrate our Constitution.

"The Constitution is the guide which I never will abandon." ~ George Washington
