There are a few spaces left for the Birding By Ear program slated for Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge this Saturday. Dr. Wayne Meyer, Austin College Associate Professor of Biology, will lead the event, which will begin at 7 a.m. with a Continental breakfast in the AV Center at the Refuge. There is no charge for the program but membership in the Friends of Hagerman is required; it's not too late to join ($10. for individuals,& only $15. for family membership) and improve your birding skills. Reservations are necessary; call 903 786 2826 for details.
