Sherman Community Players? final production of the season will be Meredith Willson?s all-American musical comedy THE MUSIC MAN which celebrates the bygone era of Smalltown, USA. Fast ?talking traveling salesman Harold Hill cons the people of River City into buying instruments and uniforms for a boy?s band he vows to organize, despite the fact he doesn?t know a trombone from a treble clef. Colorful comic characters, a barbershop quartet, rousing marches and beautiful ballads make for family entertainment at its best!
The 52 member cast of all ages, plus a 16 piece orchestra will bring the popular musical score to life with such musical favorites as Seventy-six Trombones, You Got Trouble, Till There Was You, Pickalittle-Talkalittle, Goodnight Ladies and many more.
