The Big Amazing Little Race

On Sunday July 25 from 1-5PM, Big Brothers Big Sisters will host an event to raise money to help match the 80+ children in Grayson County currently waiting for a mentor. The Big Brothers Big Sisters Big Amazing Little Race is modelled on the CBS' gameshow "The Amazing Race," where teams start at a location and must compete to complete tasks to receive clues for the next location. At the final location, we will have a pizza party courtesy of Domino's Pizza and awards ceremony! All locations, games and clues will be kept secret until the race begins.

Teams are comprised of 5 people ($25 entry fee per team breaks down to $5 per person) with no age requirements other than a licensed driver for the team. Families, friends, youth groups and church members are encouraged to participate. Your team should choose a name and wear attire to distinguish you from the other teams.
The first three teams to complete the race will each be awarded trophies and certificates. The prize for first place will be 10 tickets to the Frisco Rough Riders' game on August 1 (2 tickets per team member); the prize for second place will be a $20 Dickey's Barbecue giftcard for each team member; and the prize for 3rd place will be an IHOP meal voucher good for two free meals one per team member. Everyone who competes in the Race will receive a goodie bag with special treats from our sponsors.
All the necessary forms are available in the Group Photos section of the Facebook event for the Big Amazing Little Race, hosted by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Grayson County. Team registration forms, the $25 entry fee, and liability waivers for each member of a team are due by July 19th, and may be e-mailed to rblack@bbbstx.org, or delivered to the office 808 E.
