Inspirations in Gainesville Hosts Ethics Workshop

Inspirations Outpatient Counseling is hosting a free ethics workshop on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 in their offices at 1615 Hospital Blvd. Suite A, Gainesville, TX. The event, entitled An Ethical Feast will be a light hearted look at the Code of Conduct for social workers licensed in the state of Texas. A menu of roast dilemmas, mixed messages and baked scenarios will be served up by the staff of The Barron Law Firm. Richard M. Barron, Attorney practices Elder Law with a Life Care Planning approach which addresses the legal, financial and health issues of aging. Dianna Niemann-Harris, a licensed social worker, serves as Health Care Coordinator for the firm providing professional assessment and comprehensive case management for clients.

The workshop is scheduled 3:30 -4:30 pm on Tuesday the 15th and reservations called to Inspirations at 940-612-1200 are greatly appreciated. Licensed social workers who attend and read the handouts provided will be awarded 1.5 contact hours of continuing education toward the annual ethics requirement.
