In preparation for the state archery tournament to be held February 26th, St. Mary's Catholic School attended an invitational tournament held in Gladewater, Texas last week. Union High School in Gladewater held its first archery tournament in which five schools attended. There were approximately 250 students, grades 3 through 8, who competed. St. Mary's, who took about 50 students, had a great showing.

The date for the 10th Annual Casino Night and Auction is set for Saturday, February 27, 2010. The theme this year is FIESTA; with Latin American-inspired food and music. The 5th grade class at St. Mary's Catholic School will host Supper with Santa this Friday, December 4th, from 5pm-9pm (with time to attend the parade in the middle). A chili and hot dog supper will be available before and after the parade, as well as games, face painting, ornament making, and pictures with Santa.
