Just over a month ago, on September 30th, a man in Dallas was diagnosed with Ebola. Shortly thereafter, two of the nurses that treated the victim were diagnosed with Ebola. Since that time, there have been no new cases of Ebola in Texas, and the quarantine period for those at risk has ended.
On October 6th, the governor issued a proclamation creating the Texas Task Force on Infectious Disease Preparedness and Response. . . .

Preston Trail Chapter NSDAR Promotes Literacy by Preston Trail NSDAR
The Preston Trail Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution held its monthly meeting October 16th at Georgetown Baptist Church in Pottsboro, Texas.

Regent Lisa Lettie called the meeting to order and recognized guests including Nancy Ross the program speaker. Ms. Ross is the Regent of the General Bernardo de Galvez Chapter in Allen. Her topic was “Paul Revere and His Wives”.
