New Web Application for Ammonia Nitrate Storage Facilities  by Texas State Rep. Larry Phillips
Last year, an explosion at a fertilizer plant in West, Texas took 15 lives, and leveled much of the town located near the plant. In response to this tragedy, the State Fire Marshal’s Office (SFMO) was asked to identify all facilities storing more than 10,000 pounds of ammonium nitrate (AN). After these facilities were identified, SFMO staff inspected the 134 facilities. No serious violations were noted during any inspection.

Austin College Dedicates New Science Facility by Austin College

Austin College Public Administration Symposium “Texas Got It Right?” Examines Texas Economic and Energy Policies  by Austin College
SHERMAN, TEXAS--Austin College will host its annual Public Administration Symposium Thursday, October 24, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Wright Campus Center. This year’s symposium, “Texas Got It Right?
