Denison – The congregation at Red River Unitarian Universalist Church will celebrate their annual Flower Communion Service on Sunday, May 3, 2010. Each congregant brings a flower to be used in the service and leaves their flowers on the altar as they enter the sanctuary. Towards the end of the service, everyone comes forward and choose a flower different from the one they brought.

Trinity Lutheran Church Women will host their annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, November 22nd from 9am to 3pm. Shoppers will have the opportunity to purchase delicious, home baked goods, hand crafted gifts and many themed gift baskets. Raffle tickets for a needlepoint Nativity will be for sale. There will be a crocheted blanket available for silent auction. Lunch will be served from 11:30am to 1:30pm.
