Students in Dr. Debra Haley?s Promotional Strategies class from Southeastern Oklahoma State University recently submitted projects to North Texas Youth Connection to help the agency increase its awareness and fundraising efforts.
The Promotional Strategies course focuses on the management of promotional programs which include elements of advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, and public relations with emphasis on creating, executing and evaluating promotional strategies.

Many students take piano lessons for 10, 13, even 15 years. They can read music notation and may even be their church pianist. But ask them to sit down at the piano and pluck out ?Happy Birthday? without sheet music in front of them and they can?t do it. That?s one of the reasons why classically-trained piano students attend Terry Maddock?s Chord Approach workshops being taught all over Texas and Oklahoma.

The Lake Texoma Area Bed and Breakfast Association announced the election of Charlie Morton as its President for 2004. Charlie and his wife, Gloria, run the popular Inn of Many Faces in Denison. Joining Charlie in guiding the Association's affairs for the current year are Vice President Bob Humphrey (Shiloh Morning Inn in Ardmore) and Secretary/Treasurer Terry Ray (Front 30 Ranch Guest House in Gordonville).
