Network Nites is a great opportunity for all of those that attend to do some effective networking for their business. In the past, there has been an average of one hundred different businesses and Chamber members represented at this outstanding monthly event. August 18, 2005 will be "Network Nites" at Rawl’s Furniture, 2235 N. Center Street in Bonham from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Make plans now to attend this great networking opportunity. This event will include lots of great food and beverages. Please contact the Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce at 903-583-4811 to let the staff know the names of those planning to attend by Tuesday, August 16th.
Robert Rawls started working in the furniture business at the young ate of twelve. He was the only boy of four children, born to the late Robert and Elizabeth Rawls of Stamps, Arkansas. He worked as a stocker and rearranged the showroom floor at a small family owned store in Stamps. Robert had a dream of owning his own furniture store. After years of managing stores for other owners, he and his wife Wendy achieved their dream. They opened their first store at 103 N. McCoy Blvd. in New Boston, Texas in 1996. In March of 2004, they opened their second store in Bonham, Texas.
Pauline Cusick relocated to Bonham in September 2004, to manage the store for Robert and Wendy. Pauline is the Rawl’s first cousin and she is a native Texan born in Stanton, Texas. Pauline has worn many hats in management ranging from Superintendent of a Construction Company, Floral Designer/Manager, Placement Coordinator for a Personnel Company, assisting with Children with special needs, and Travel Counselor for the State of Texas.
Rawl’s Furniture offers a wide selection of furniture featuring great brands such as Ashley, Broyhill, Vaughan Bassett, Liberty Catnapper, Lane, etc. Rawl’s Furniture is also the only Seally Dealer in Fannin County. The Rawls family and employees are very family oriented and provide excellent customer service.
