The Grayson County Democratic Party is sponsoring a Town Hall Forum Thursday, August 25th at the Cruce Stark Auditorium, Grayson County College
This Forum on THE CRISIS IN SCHOOL FUNDING will begin at 7:30 pm.
Admission is free and the public is urged to attend and have their voice heard during the Question & Answer segment of the Forum.
State Representative Larry Phillips, Dist. 62 will report on the futile efforts of the State Legislature to find a solution to the crisis.
Following Phillips.. ISD Superintendents Scott of Denison, Collier-Pottsboro, Cohagen-Gunter and Lee-Whitesboro, will review the impact on their Districts and respond to questions from Moderator, Tony Beaverson.
Dr. Glenn Melancon-SOSU will present facts relative to taxes and school funding, then join the panelist's in reponding to questions from the audience.
