Trinity Lutheran Church will hold their fifth annual water carnival- "Splashdown 2006!" this Saturday, August 12th from 3pm to 7pm. The water carnival is totally free for the entire community. You are encouraged to bring school supplies to donate to the Grayson County Child Welfare Board.
While at the water carnival participants will be treated to the music of "The Backroads Band", the trio "Holding On", and Dustin Perkins with Howard Strause.
There will be giant water slides, carnival games, water balloon volley ball, cake walk and a toy walk, and of course water guns.
At the water carnival their will be free hot dogs, chips, soft drinks, popcorn, snow cones for refreshment.
Participants will also have the opportunity to donate blood at the blood mobile.
Come prepared to get wet and have fun while helping others in our community.
Splashdown is an Annual Free Water Carnival given for the entire community. It is a way to show love for our neighbors as we bring school supplies for those in need and enjoy fun and fellowship together.
