It’s not too late to be considered for becoming an arts-crafts or food vendor at the 2007 Sherman Arts Festival. Sept. 1 is the vendor application deadline for the Saturday, Sept. 15, event. Applications are available online at www.shermantx.org or by calling the Sherman Dept. of Tourism, 903-957-0310. New pricing is in effect for food vendors, based on number of food items offered for sale.
This will be the 25th year for the annual event and there will be many special features added to celebrate the anniversary and bring out the crowds. For the first time, visitors to the festival can enjoy a strolling juggler and a magician, can be entertained at the all new Storytelling Stage, and can enjoy new entertainment on the outdoor Oliver Dewey Mayor Stage, including “Elvis” and the Briefcase Blues”.
