The Alzheimer's Association was selected by LUV Homes as the recipient of income from their Spring Benefit Flea Market. The Association provides a full time Family Services Manager serving Grayson, Fannin and Cooke Counties, assistance is offered to low income families needing respite care and numerous educational programs are conducted in the tri-county area.
The flea market will be on site at LUV Homes, 5020 Texoma Parkway, Sherman, TX from 8am to 4pm on Saturday, April 26. This promises to be a diverse and interesting event with "friendly competition" between local home sales businesses. Vendors at LUV will donate to the Association to reserve table space, then display and sell their wares. Alzheimer's Association volunteers will be on hand selling food and beverages to shoppers, helping with parking and supporting the efforts of the staff of LUV Homes. In addition to a limitless variety of flea market items for sale, plans are in the works for children’s activities, door prize drawings and more.
Dianna Niemann-Harris, Texoma Family Services Manager for the Alzheimer's Association said, "This is such a unique, fun kind of benefit, I am eager to be a part of it!" A literature table with information about Alzheimer's will be onsite the day of the event. Alzheimer's Association staff will respond to questions and provide additional resource data.
Now is the time to mark the calendar and plan to spend the day at LUV Homes on April 26!
