The Friends of Hagerman have named Ronnie D. Barron as December Photographer of the Month. A Gunter resident, Barron has a life-long appreciation for nature and recently purchased a Canon S31S digital camera to begin capturing the scenes he enjoys. He describes himself as a total beginner with no training. An album of twelve photos taken at Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge by Barron will be featured on the Friends website through the month.
