Theatricks is offering a very special deal this year in keeping with the theme of the first show of the season, WILLY WONKA, that for every Theatricks season membership purchased a “Golden Ticket” will be placed with your name in a drawing for five “Golden Ticket” gift baskets with winners to be drawn after the last performance of WILLY WONKA September 6th.
The “Golden Ticket” gift baskets contain many items donated from area businesses, and even some from Dallas like tickets to see the musical MARY POPPINS with the Dallas Summer Musicals this fall. Other items included are restaurant gift certificates, massage sessions, movie tickets, season memberships to the Community Series, personalized mugs, hair salon visits, and much more. Plus, there will be one grand prize winner who will receive a “Golden Ticket” gift basket worth over $1,000.
Theatricks production of WILLY WONKA will be held in the Kidd-Key Auditorium Saturday, September 5th at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday, September 6th at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10. Become a Theatricks season member and see three family oriented shows WIILY WONKA (September 5 & 6, 2009), YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN (March 5 to 14, 2010), and THE BIG FRIENDLY GIANT (July 9 to 18, 2010) for only $22 for adults, $18 for seniors and students.
The SCP box office will open Monday, August 24 for Theatricks season members and Tuesday, August 25 for the general public. Reservations can be made by calling (903)892-8818 or visiting the Honey McGee Playhouse between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
