This spring's concert will consist of a trombone quintet arranged from a motet by the Renaissance composer Thomas Stoltzer, a set of traditional Austrian dances set by Franz Schubert and arranged for chamber orchestra by Duhaime, and a variety of big band jazz in traditional and contemporary styles, featuring trumpet, saxophone, trombone, piano, and drum soloists.

The chamber ensembles and orchestra are comprised of Austin College students representing a diverse variety of academic majors and professional interests. The April concert is the second for these groups in Wynne Chapel this year. The Greater Texoma Jazz Ensemble consists of students, faculty, and community members from across Northeastern Texas and Southeastern Oklahoma. Performance venues for the Jazz Ensemble this year have included Collinsville, Denison, and Durant, as well as Austin College and Sherman High School.
