United Way of Grayson County Meets Campaign Goal
Article
United Way of Grayson County board members announced today in a press conference that they have successfully met and exceeded their campaign goal of 1.4 million dollars. Robby Roberts, one of the members of the board of directors, gave thanks to Judge Horace Groff, and Brett Graham along with many others for the aid they have provided to the United Way throughout their recent campaign. The United Way board of directors also thanked the community, who came through with many donations ranging from one to ten dollar donations, and even donations of one hundred dollars or more per person. Horace Graff then took the podium, and thanked all two hundred of the volunteer workers for their persistence in attaining the recent campaign goal. Horace went on to mention that the United Way as a whole is the second largest contributor in donations to charity agencies (the first largest being the federal government). As Horace finished, Brett Graham came to the podium to add a few more thanks to everyone involved with United Way, and commented on how reaching this goal will immensely help all of the agencies that the United Way of Grayson County represents.
