HOT SUMMER NIGHTS starts June 3rd!
Article
Celebrating Ten Years of Cool Music at Hot Summer Nights SHERMAN, TEXAS - The tenth anniversary of HOT SUMMER NIGHTS kicks off Thursday evening (June 3) with a "Genuine" (pronounced Gen-you-whine) Texas original – THE DERAILERS. These Austin-based groove merchants continue their relentless search for what lead guitarist Brian Hofeldt calls "our Bakerspool/Liversfield thing," that mythical Golden Crossroads where--on the best of all possible days--the likes of Buck Owens, Roy Orbison, Marty Robbins and The Beatles would all hook up and kick some music around. "I'm so pumped to play in Buck Owens birthplace!" Hofeldt exclaimed in a recent phone interview. Bring the kids, bring the bug spray, bring the grandparents and the neighbors! It’s FREE!! For a laid-back evening of great live music, head over to the Sherman Municipal Lawn for HOT SUMMER NIGHTS. Music starts at 7:30 and goes until the Derailers call it a night. Concessions available.
