The Sherman/Grayson County League of Women Voters will hold it annual membership reception Thursday, August 26 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. The League is celebrating "Women's
Equality Day" with a sing along with a local impersonator of Susan B. Anthony who will lead participants in old suffragist songs. The program also includes viewing the video "Dreams of Equality", and enjoying refreshments and fellowship. The location for the reception is the Grace United Methodist Church Community Room at 2800 Canyon Creek in Sherman. Childcare will be provided, and please call 903-892-4422 if you need a ride.
