The Grayson County Democratic Party will host a grand opening celebration of their new headquarters located at 328 West Lamar in Sherman on Tuesday, September 21st at 5:00 p.m. Plans include an opportunity to meet and visit with current and past democratic office holders, then hear from candidates running for County, State and National Offices.
Local Democrats are very pleased with the quality of democratic candidates seeking office, and are extremely excited about the vision offered America nationally by the Presidential/vice Presidential ticket of John Kerry and John Edwards.
The vibrant democratic platform calling for a "Strong America at Home--Respect Abroad" has caught on across the country. The message of a "New Direction" is being well received by democrats and republicans alike.
Most Americans recognize the holllow ring of the current administration's promises for programs that should already be in place for a safer and more prosperous America.
Our Headquarters opening will include refreshments and entertainment with signs, bumper stickers and t-shirts available. Everyone is invited.
