Austin College Theatre -- Cheryl Uttley of Centreville, Virginia, at left, portrays Innogen, the central character in William Shakespeare's Cymbeline. At center is her father Cymbeline, played by Andrew Phifer of Jacksonville, Texas, and, right, her husband, Posthumus, played by Greg Wohead of Mesquite, Texas, in this scene, though all the actors play more than one role. "Cymbeline takes places in Roman Britain and centers on Innogen (the daughter of Cymbeline) and her husband, Posthumus, and on the relationship between Britain and Rome," said the plays' director Kathleen Campbell, Austin College associate professor of communication arts. "The plot is complex and culminates in one of the most extraordinary final scenes Shakespeare wrote, containing 18 separate revelations." The Austin College Communication Arts Department will present William Shakespeare's "Cymbeline" Oct. 28-30 at 7:30 p.m. in the Beardsley Arena Theatre of Ida Green Communication Center. The production is free to the Austin College community; $5 general admission, with tickets available at the door. Call (903) 813-2281 for information.
