Thanksgiving Love

The closer we come to Thanksgiving the more we hear about Christmas - have you noticed that, too? But I want to take just a very brief minute to be thankful before we get to Christmas. We recently have gone through a very trying time in our family which has made us realize what family love really means. For me, it means the ability to not only see the ones I love but to touch them. Naturally, there are those whom I love very much and am unable to touch them as often as I would like but this was a little different. Now we come to God's love. His love is so massive that he helps us to cope with trying times such as this. Without His love, we cannot overcome hurts. Our problem is that most of the time, we won't let Him help - we try to take care of it for Him. This Thanksgiving, I am very thankful for the love of my family and for the wonderful, caring and understanding love of our Father. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
