I was just trying to think of something really "profound" to post on this page about Christmas and couldn't really come up with it. But I feel that the most "profound" thing in my life is Jesus. He has shown me so much love in becoming a man, going through the same trials that I do, becoming angry with those who don't show respect for the houses of worship, and finally - the most important thing - dying for me. You see, your relationship with Jesus is not about "us" or "we" - it is about me, about you.
I feel that until I can quit saying things like "let us pray" or "Jesus loves us" or even "Jesus died for us" and begin to use the personal pronouns meaning me that I really cannot feel all that love and know that it is meant for me.
Is your relationship with the Lord a personal one? I intend for mine to be more so. I want this next year to walk with MY Lord by MY side and tell everyone that Jesus loves ME. I want the Lord to know that I appreciate what He did for me.
Have a wonderful Holy-day.
