Brave Combo came to visit for the fourth installment of the free Hot Summer Nights concert series. Things got off to a polkorific start with a few audience members up dancing early on. Soon after this the band made a request for any body that had been to a wedding reception this year to please come up for a waltz, polka style!! a few more audience members were then added to the dance floor.
After a thought provoking talk connecting Mozart and Elvis as being the same person...well they have never been seen in the same room together...the dance floor was filled with the announcment of the polka chicken...I mean the funky chicken.
Young and adult alike were lured in throughout the course of the night by the prospect of a good dance tune and fun to be had. When all was said and done the crowd was left yelling for more so the band obliged with an encore...could this be a first for HSN? We'll have to check the records.
