Plane Makes Emergency Landing 60 Feet from Gas Station.
Article
On Tuesday July 16, at 8:50 A.M. in Sherman, Texas, there was a pilot saying a prayer! They were about to make an emergency landing in a small patch of grass barely big enough to be called a field. Nestled between a gas station, a populated neighborhood, and Crutchfield Elementary School on HWY 11 , the plane miraculously landed with no injuries reported. After talking to two pilots that were un-related to the accident, their opinions of what happened are that there was some type of engine failure. We hope that everyone is ok.
