On May 3, with Registration at 5PM and Tee off at 5:30 PM, the Grayson Rotary will be holding it's world reknown Day/Night Golf Tourney. Players from around the world will be participating. Tiger Woods said he would have attended, but because of the Masters, which he is obligated to, he will not be able to make it. Never fear though, it will be a good time for one and all!
Golfers will play the front 9 in daylight, have dinner and play the back 9 at night. Sponsorships are available for $500/250/100. Sponsors will receive recognition on at least 3 occasions including in the Herald-Democrat and signs at the course.
Cost to play is only $60 per Day/Night Golfer. Team size is limited to 6. Players can create their own team or be assigned to a team.
For those interested in helping gather sponsors or golfers for the Grayson Rotary, Keith Lightfoot offered a marketing tip, "Go through your e-mail address book and send all the golfers on the list an e-mail with the details above and ask them to sponsor or play or both. I found about 20 golfers in my address book and it took about 5 minutes to complete the task. We would like for each team to raise at least $1000 or $250 per member. We need sponsor names and amounts by the 28th at the latest."
