Dear Community Supporter,
Greetings! As you may know, the Crisis Center is the local provider for victims of domestic/intimate partner violence, stalking, sexual violence and human trafficking. We have an emergency shelter for those who are fleeing danger, a crisis hotline that is answered 24/7, non-residential services to work with individuals and families in a variety of situations, and advocates who respond to the hospital 24/7 to accompany sexual assault victims seeking services.
What you may not know, is that last year we:
• answered over 2,000 crisis hotline calls
• served almost 400 adults and over 200 children
• provided emergency shelter to over 300 individuals
• and accompanied over 40 sexual assault victims to the hospital to receive services
On October 19, 2023, at noon we will be having our annual fundraiser in the Sherman Municipal Ballroom and this year it is an amazing Lunch and Laugh! It will be an unforgettable luncheon with a hypnotist comedian and is sure to keep people talking and laughing for days!
