Emilie Harris Named President & CEO of the Sherman Chamber of CommerceThe Sherman Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has announced the appointment of Emilie Harris as the organization’s new President & CEO.
Harris joined the Chamber in 2022 and has played an important role in serving its investors, supporting local businesses, developing community partnerships, and advancing the Chamber’s mission. She most recently served as Interim President & CEO, providing steady leadership during the organization’s transition.
“The Board is confident that under her leadership, the Sherman Chamber will continue building meaningful partnerships, supporting local businesses, and advancing the economic vitality of our region,” said Board Chairman Asa Jessee.
Harris expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to continue serving the Chamber and the Sherman business community.
“I’m incredibly honored and grateful for the trust the Board of Directors has placed in me,” Harris said. “The Sherman Chamber has been home to me for the past four years, and I look forward to working alongside our Board, staff, volunteers, and community leaders to continue building a strong, vibrant business community for years to come.”
As Sherman and the surrounding area continue to experience significant growth, the Chamber serves an important role in connecting businesses, encouraging investment, supporting economic development, and strengthening relationships throughout the community.
