Constitution & Citizenship Day Event
Mark your calendars for this event for all ages on Thursday, September 17 from 5-7 PM at Pottsboro Library. We will be celebrating our nation's great founding document on Constitution Day & celebrating our new citizens for Citizenship Day. Kids get to make tricorn hats, adults & children get to participate in a 1787 Constitutional Convention Skit, participants get to take a sample citizenship test and play Bill of Rights bingo! It will be a fun evening to celebrate our country, learn about history and what it means to be a citizen of our great nation! All ages are welcome and invited to attend this free event to celebrate together!
Lineage Research Workshop
We are partnering with the Denison Genealogical Society to host a Lineage Research Workshop for the public at Frontier Village & Museum. Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 30 at 2-4 PM to get your genealogy journey started or receive help in finding your Patriot ancestor. Bring a friend or family member who is interested too! We will have paperwork and laptops ready, along with genealogist volunteers to assist you in finding your family history.
